Lose the Battle to Win the War

Dear Friend,

Irrespective of what you have been through or what you are currently going through, no matter the pain, hurt, troubles and challenges that crowd your life at the moment, I have come to realize that they are just battles. The ultimate quest however is the war to come, and that you shall win!

Dear friend, today’s letter is for you my lovely reader who is searching for a purpose or the answer to certain questions in your life and I truly hope that as you read further, you gain clarity on the fact that you have won the war, so the battles? Let them come, they are just jokers.

I want you to know that in order to win the war, you will fight many battles, some of which you may lose and have to run into hiding; not because you are timid or naïve, but because it is a season and time to regroup, strategize and gain new strength.

I also want you to know that there will be times in your life when it seems like the world is on your shoulders, when you feel like nothing is working, when you begin to doubt certain prophetic declarations and godly convictions, when you start to ask yourself different questions. Dear friend, in these times I humbly ask that you move back and sit with God tight because every moment is a moment for him to establish his mightiness in your life. In these times, when you feel like the chips are down, when you feel like the failures are enormous, I want you to think of them as battles, and go in to your secret place and reconnect with God.

I have come to understand that by doing this, there is no war you can’t win.

Did you know that when the devil strikes the first time, he comes harder the next time and much harder again? Now, that’s the war.

The Bible said in Ephesians 6:12 that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. That means this battle is just a test, watch me get ready for war.

So, the fact that you have been broken, doesn’t mean you can’t be fixed, because in the process of your secret place, in that moment when the Lord is preparing you for the main war, he is reconstructing your abilities, you are a new person, you are strengthened, you are fortified, you are redeemed, the armor of the Lord is upon you, dear friend, these enemies and foes have never seen an armor this bright!

So, stand tall, the war is won!

Dear friend, you must never give up on yourself, you must always believe in your abilities and in the fact that you are enough and can achieve anything in this world, but first; dwell with God.

I want you to know that no matter how old you are or where you are at presently, no matter the situation or how terrible it looks, always remember that they are just battles and they are of the Lord.

I love God so much that I can be rest assured that this kind of love will take me through anything in this life, and I have made up my mind never to be selfish with it, to give the Lord all the love I have within me not because of what I stand to gain, but because of the fact that I truly love him.

Dear friend, can you do the same?

Can you abide with God, just because you love him and not necessarily what you stand to gain from him?

Then you will see how the Lord will fight your battles and win the war at last.

I meant for this Letter to be brief but instructional, this word came to me like a force in my chest and the urge to tell you about it proved strong.

Dear friend, I hope you never give up. More especially in the abilities of God to see you through, I hope you keep steadfast in the abundance of his love. I also hope that this message penetrates your soul and sows a good seed.

The battles of life are many, but they do not stop the war, for the devil plans each day, each minute and second, looking and roaming about in utter shame, searching for how he can hurt you and feed of it. Never give him the opportunity, stand strong and firm in the Lord and always be of a good cheer for the Lord has granted you victory.

I strongly believe that someone around you may need to hear this, I therefore indulge you to share this post to as many people as possible.
