As a kid, I wondered a lot, into thin air, alone in my thoughts, in the blankness of space and time. Hollowed up in my room at a corner I loved because of its distinctness, curled up in just stares and thoughts, part of which wondered around who Jesus was and why we worshipped him at home so much. Then at the age of 7, reading my first ever novel, I picked up the book by Morris Cerullo and read the Chosen Warrior. Oh, how it changed my life!
Hello dear friend, I trust you are doing well and I sincerely hope that this season brings you peace, joy, fulfillment and hope. I guess that is what Jesus wanted when he did what he did ‘today’.
This brings me to say that when I think about how much God loves us all, I am amazed and intrigued. I don’t know about you but I often wonder into blank state, how someone who became human just to give us a sense of belonging, could take all those pains. Now, that was a lot of pain.
Watching passion of Christ as a kid was pretty a very nice moment for me, and after which it became a trend, I would want to watch it every Easter season because it reminded me so much of who Jesus was and who he still is. However, passion of Christ was just a movie and a little eye opener, studying my Bible gave me much more clarity on what Jesus did and why He did it.
Dear friend, I have always been passionate about knowing what drives people to do what they do, but Jesus’s reason was just simple; you and I.
As I reminisce today over a whole lot of things, I am doubt free of the fact that I am a warrior, a conqueror and a victorious champion, which is solely because of the great love of Jesus Christ.
If this sounds like a chant, then chant. Because that’s what Jesus did, He made me know who I am in him.
Several years ago, when I genuinely opened my heart to Jesus, because of who I found him to be, I became very curious about the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, but more importantly, I became happy to tell people about what He did for us all.
Humanity won’t be sane in the least way possible, if Christ didn’t give his life. I probably won’t have come this far, you too. But Christ doesn’t even want us to beat ourselves up and that’s because He did it out of love.
I have come to realize that his love is guaranteed to you and I because He laid it all out there, bare for us to see him plainly and wounded, distraught and broken, injured and badly treated, dealt with in the most bizarre and cruel way. Oh Jesus Christ!
Dear friend, this death in which we keep cognizance of today allowed us to be free without debt from penalty and bondage, from sin and death, from the malice and evil deeds of the wicked. This particular reason is why I feel that honestly, everyone ought to know Christ.
Good Friday is good news because I know my Lord Jesus took the pain to set you free today, I know that He accepted to be mistreated and bore the most ruthless suffering just for me and you. In that, we may experience a new life, devoid of harshness and chaos where the devil seeks to destroy us all.
Good Friday is good news because even in the death of Jesus, we are sure that Jesus didn’t just die to be forgotten, but to rise and show the world that he is truly Christ, the King of all Kings. Hallelujah!
I often wonder what it took for Judas to betray Jesus, it couldn’t have been solely because of the expensive oil of perfume that Mary Magdalene poured on the feet of Jesus, I find that quite unusual. I think it was the devil plotting through the heart of Judas, who by the way was fully open for the devil to use, but the devil was foolish, the devil didn’t know about the fact that Jesus was more than prepared, he knew his betrayer, he knew the day and hour but he kept on with his father’s mission; to save the world and give his life for a ransom.
So, Judas’s betrayal wasn’t just because of that oil, he always had it in him to be quite odd and greedy, he wanted the money for the most nonsensical reasons, money that couldn’t be enough to last him the while. The devil failed in that plan, such a foolish plan.
Jesus died the death we were supposed to die, and I don’t mean physical death, because this earth is a temporary place, I mean the spiritual death entwined with bondage and chains, buried to the pathway of the devil. That kind of death. But H came, stood in the gap for us and paid the price.
Dear friend, how much do you think you could have been able to pay if Christ asked for payment?
I honestly don’t think Elon Musk would have the money, that’s a pretty much heavy price. ‘Dying for the world’ So, ……. X 8000 billion people? Wow, he wouldn’t be able to even pay for his, he would need to borrow to the ends of the earth.
So, the death of Jesus is a reflection that is not ordinary. More so, I don’t think today should be the only day for reflection. I think everyday should be a day to remember the deeds of Christ and spread it to the world in anyway we can. I mean, that’s the only mandate He gave right? Spread my good news to all nations. He is the good news and that good news is a significance of what He did today, oh praise the Lord.
In that we were yet sinners Christ died for us!
So, today being good Friday brings me to a place of sudden realization of what Jesus represents in my life. It has helped me understand that Jesus is the only true saviour of this world, it has helped me get better at talking to him, it has reminded me a lot of my childhood and all the biblical hero stories of Jesus that I heard about.
Take me back to being a child, and I would cramp up in my bed with ‘my book of Bible stories’ and read with stretchy smiles.
Dear friend, I am happy to write to you today about the good news called Jesus Christ, how He died for us all and I want you to join me in saying thank you Jesus.
He loves you and wants you to know it, so come to him, even if you have never understood who He really is, this significant time is the most blessed time for you to suck through the power of his death and resurrection and paint an image of him in your head, the definite presentation of who is truly is.
Jesus died so that you may be free from death and sin
Jesus died so that the devil will have no hold over your life
Jesus died and took away poverty
Jesus died and took away diseases
Jesus died and took away pain and hurt
Jesus died and took away lack and disappointment
Jesus died and took away depression and suicide
Jesus died and took away sickness
Jesus died and took away instability
Jesus died and took away lack of peace
Jesus died and granted us life.
Jesus died and yet it was finished. He said it!
So dear friend, while you read this letter in reconciliation with what the death of Jesus represents in your life, please understand that He loves you much more than you can ever fathom, He cares about you beyond all ramifications and the most wonderful thing is that He isn’t asking you for money. Just love him!

There's nothing like personal encounter with the person of Jesus and the Holyspirit. Telling a child about Jesus isn't enough, everyone needs to meet Jesus for themselves.
I share similar childhood experience with you Sibi and I can relate to how that has transformed my life so far and how it drives every decision I make.
Thank you for sharing Jesus and your experience with us...
Happy Easter God's Child and Writer 😘
He died that we may Live...
He suffered for our sake
The greatest love of all 🙌
Why not ,as humans, we all live a life that pleases him 🤷♀️
Nice one Sibi 👍weldone
